The original form of religious confession is in a reconcilation rooms which was a face to face meeting. This situations were seen as awkward and uncomfortable and many people refused to go to reconciliation. In a church in Connecticut, the pastor Stephen DiGiovanni thought of the reintroduction of confession booths. As a result of the new kind of interaction with the member of the church and priest about 450 people a week came to confess their sins in the confession booths. English, Italien, Portuguese, Spanish, and French are the five languages that are availible for sin confessions. The church of St. John's in Connecticut is trying to convince other churches to do the same thing or think of other ways so that people feel more comfortable to confess thier sins.
