Change

Throughout childhood, every child goes through relatively the same changes. One change in a child's life that does not apply to everyone is when the parents of that child are divorced. The life of a child in a divorce is very different from the average child. They have to deal with moving from one house to another, they have to deal with the fighting that occurred before the divorce, and many other situations. According to the author of an article I read, the worst thing adults can do is fight and argue in front of their children.. it causes stress, depression and sadness within the child. This article also tells a story of three children who all used to do very well in school and were apart of many different clubs, and after the divorce of their parents they were all consistently getting C and D's. Although sometimes, not this drastically apparent, divorces even with joint custody and be very stressful on the children and changes their lives drastically.
